Everyone knows that teaching is not for the faint of heart. The 2017 American Federation of Teachers Educator Quality of Life survey revealed 61% of teachers say they are stressed out and 58% report their mental health is “not good.” This session will explore a variety of ways teachers can prioritize self-care and reclaim time they may not even realize they are losing. Participants will gain specific tips and tricks that will help shift the perspective from FOMO (fear of missing out) to JOMO (joy of missing out).
