🎫 Registration

  1. Click the Sign up below if this is your first time to use Sched OR Log in if you already have a Sched.com account. Please use your SCHOOL EMAIL address.

  2. Once you have created an account you can go to your settings page to add a photo and update your profile.

  3. Click on the open circle next to each session you are interested in attending. You can sign up for one session per time slot.

  4. Please download the Sched app in the Apple Store or Google Play Store to have access to your schedule during the conference. You can also print or email your schedule if you prefer to not download the app.

If you are a 1st year teacher who is participating in GOCSD’s BTAP Program, you are already registered for this event and do NOT need to sign-up.

💳 Payment

  • Non-members, including SW Center Partners, will need to pay $100 in advance, using our Payment Portal.

  • Adult Faculty from one of University Partners will need to pay $20 in advance, using our Payment Portal.
  • Teacher Education Students attending one of our Partner Universities can attend for free.
  • After the event, Member Districts will be billed $20 per registration.

This presentation offers several tips and tricks that will allow teachers to successfully design and deliver online courses in order to make sure all students have a chance to succeed. Using backwards design, teachers will learn ways to differentiate assessments and assignments in Canvas, give effective feedback, organize material so it’s clear and understandable, and be given ideas for online formatives to help make information stick in students’ minds. At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to implement strategies that will help them build and teach an online course that gives every student a chance to flourish.
